2019 is here and it’s time to start it up with love and music!

First, I must admit that it’s surreal to realize Collective Soul is celebrating 25 years! Atlantic records signed the band from Stockbridge, GA in 1994, and what an epic ride that year and the subsequent years have been. Who would’ve imagined that Me, Ed and Dean would still be going on planes, trains and tour buses to rock n roll 25 years later! AND, a new album from CS in 2019 too! Stay tuned for more touring announcements, we will have a busy year.

In 2018, I released Serengeti Drivers, my second solo record. I have received so many positive responses, thanks so much, I appreciate all of them.

To start 2019, I am releasing a new music video for my single 'Make it Home' directed by long time friend, Mil Cannon. I am also going to play some solo shows featuring the Serengeti tunes! I am playing at the Historic Eddie’s Attic on April 6. My son Tristan and nephew Chandler will be joining me that night too! It will be a great night of live music, please join us. I will also be playing an online show from Real to Reel Studios in April. Look out for dates and details to see the performance!

Finally, I want everyone to know that I am starting a new chapter of recording at Real to Reel studios this year. My Father started R2R in 1976, when I was just a youngster. I am assuming my fathers ownership in the studio this year and plan on revitalizing the brand and the space. We have lots of plans to update the place and get a lot more music and video flowing from the studio. Stay tuned for more info. We will be keeping everyone up to date with plans as we get things done. Look for another virtual show in June for an “open house” and live show.

Looking forward to getting out on the road and playing music in 2019.

Cheers! WT
